FAQs

“Contrology is designed to give you suppleness, natural grace, and skill that will be unmistakably reflected in the way you walk, in the way you play, in the way you work.”

– Joseph Pilates

I have never done Pilates, which class should I start?

If you have never done Pilates, ideally you need to book for a 60 minute private session before booking into any classes. In this session, we assess your posture and requirements and take you through basic principles and movements according to your posture type, making sure you understand the principles and fundamental techniques. Alternatively, you can start with essential matwork.

What should I wear for my class?

Comfortable gear that you can move freely. For hygiene and safety purposes We recommend you wear gripping socks or toe socks. You can purchase these from reception if you don’t have one.

What is the cancelation policy?

24-hour notice for cancelation is needed otherwise, you will be charged for the missed class.

What do I do next?

Visit our Classes page to read more detail about each style we offer, or go to our Book A Class page to select which class you would like to attend.

How often should I attend classes?

Most people do 1 or 2 classes each week. However, to get the most benefits from Pilates, we suggest you participate for at least 3 sessions per week.

If you have any other questions please contact us.
