Essential Matwork

Never been to Pilates before or it’s been a long time since your last class or need to brush up on your techniques? No problem at all! We have all been there… Come along!

This is where you need to start. These Matwork classes are a great place to start learning the basic principles and breathing patterns of Pilates and techniques. They incorporate the mind and body helping you to increase your energy level while relaxing, getting leaner, longer and stronger muscles, healthier back, a more flexible body and a stronger posture.

Essential/Intermediate: Pre-requisite: Having attended minimum three Essential Matwork classes or a private session.

You kind of know what you’re doing in a Pilates class but not completely sure? This is perhaps where you need to be. This class combines both a beginners and intermediate Pilates repertoire. you will still learn the fundamental essential breathing patterns of Pilates, while also learning how to put all this into a faster more challenging practice.

Intermediate Matwork: Pre-requisite: Having a good knowledge of basic principles, techniques and you need to be injury-free.

OK! so you have mastered the essential level, been practicing it for a while and need that challenge and more faster flow? More sweat? We get you there! Book yourself to one of these classes.

This class will help you sculpt your entire body through a faster pace, improving your endurance, strength and stamina.

Matwork Conditioning: pre-requisite: attending an Essential Matwork class

Matwork Conditioning continues to build on your endurance and core strength while improving the body’s stamina. This class will help you to lengthen, tone and strengthen your muscles without building bulk. Props such as toning balls, soft ball, the Fitness Circle, and resistance band are incorporated to add variety and proprioceptive awareness.

Pilates Reformer

If you’re new to Reformer Pilates or need a brush-up on settings and techniques, we suggest that you book your first session to be an in-depth 40 or 60 minute private session at your convenient time. It is beneficial that you chose one of these options before booking in for any of the classes, helping you enjoy and having more fun in the group classes. Upon completion of a private session, it is best to start with Essential/Beginners Reformer classes.

Essential Reformer:

Welcome to one of the most popular piece of Pilate’s equipment classes! We love this, athletes and celebrities are loving it too!

Are you thinking what on earth is a reformer? Does is sound intimidating or you think it looks like one of those medieval torture equipment’s? Fair enough! We didn’t know on day 1 either…

In this class, you will be introduced to the reformer and will learn about all the basic principles while you master the proper technique required to build core strength, stability and mind-body awareness. This class will provide you with an invigorating full body workout. Participants are welcome to stay in the Essential classes until they feel confident enough to enter the Essential/Intermediate class.

Essential/Intermediate Reformer: Pre-requisite: Having attended minimum of three Essential Reformer classes or a private session.

You need a step up from the Essential Reformer level? This class continues to build on endurance, and core strength while improving coordination and flexibility. In this medium-intensity class you will work both the core and peripheral muscles to ensure you are on your way to having a strong and toned body as you continue to strengthen and stabilize all your joints, hips, knees, and ankles.

Intermediate Reformer

This class combines more complicated choreography and is delivered at a faster pace to further build on your core strength and endurance while improving stamina and agility.

Intermediate/Advanced Reformer: Suitable for strong, experienced clients.

Are you up for a no-rest, high-intensity class designed to keep your body in motion, targeting more than one muscle group at a time? This is what you are looking for!

This will help you get tighter tummies, lifted bottoms and longer, leaner muscles. Be ready for more complicated choreography delivered at a faster pace though!

Mat & Reformer: All levels

This class brings you the best of both worlds. A Great combination of half Matwork and half Reformer! Helping you build core strength, create long and lean muscles and improve spinal mobility.

Cardio tramp™ and Reformer: Pre-requisite: Essential and Essential/Intermediate Reformer

This class will provide a full body workout combining the resistance of the reformer with interval cardiovascular training, using the STOTT PILATES® Cardio Tramp™, you’ll get your heart and lungs pumping while burning calories.

Reformer & Tower:

This is a unique combination of reformer and Cadillac helping you tone, strengthen and lengthen your arms and legs while focusing on torso stability. This great combo will increase your flexibility, agility and body awareness while stabilising your hip and shoulder muscles.

Private Sessions

In our fully equipped STOTT PILATES® studio, we offer 1-1 and 2-1 sessions where you can have a great combination of all Pilates equipment including mat, reformer, Cadillac, stability chair, ladder barrel and arc barrel where you will be challenged from different angles.This will help you to have a personalised plan based on your posture type and further achieve your goals.
